Eddie Ray is a veteran executive with over fifty years of professional experience and expertise in several facets of the commercial music industry, including record distribution; promotion and sales; record production; songwriting and music publishing; artist acquisition and development; business administration; commercial music education; and federal copyright administration.  He has held top level executive positions with major music entities in Hollywood, California, Memphis, Tennessee and with the Federal Government in Washington, D.C.

In Hollywood, Eddie served as a Senior Executive with M.G.M. Records; Capitol Records (Tower Record Division); Co-Burt Television Productions (Record/Music Division); Imperial Records; and Central Record Sales Company (Independent Record Distributor).

Subsequently, Eddie was appointed by President Reagan and confirmed by the U.S. Senate to serve as a Commissioner of the U.S. Copyright Royalty Tribunal in Washington, D.C.  He served the Tribunal approximately eight years and was Chairman or Acting Chairman for four years.

During his career, he has been directly involved in the super successful careers of scores of recording artists, songwriters and producers, representing various genres of music.  Fats Domino, Rick Nelson, Dave Bartholomew, Slim Whitman, The Osmonds, Allen Toussaint, Lou Rawls, Hank Williams, Jr., Ernie Freeman, Mike Curb, Irma Thomas, Sammy Davis, Jr., Ian Whitcom, Ernie K-Doe, Al Green, Pink Floyd, Mae West, Smiley Lewis and Sandy Nelson are representations of the many musically diverse artists with whom Eddie has been productively involved.
