The Biography of

Nancy Meyer, Vice President,

The Cameron Organisation, Inc.

Nancy Meyer came to Los Angeles, California in 1982 to establish
a working office for The Cameron Organisation, Incorportated.  Her focus at that time was artist management and, in particular, the music publishing catalogs of their clients, Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon.  Through the years, this company has built a division for Intellectual Property Rights.  Specializing in the music genres of Blues and Jazz, The Cameron Organisation found the music catalogs of older artists, who established these American music genres, to be extremely problematic.  As we began to research title rights, international counter claims, copyright renewals and royalty sources, it became clear that there was a distinct need for service in these dire areas.

In addition to clients such as the Estates of Muddy Waters, Jimmy Reed and Howlin' Wolf, we are proud to represent the creative works of such Los Angeles icons as T-Bone Walker, Lowell Fulson, Jimmy Witherspoon, Cleanhead Vinson and Roy Milton.  Our latest progress includes negotiating updated recording contracts and recapturing the publishing rights for numerous artists.  Classic masters recorded by these artists in the 1940's, 1950's and 1060's continue to have a vast commercial life.  We have been successful at re-establishing royalty flows and revising royalty rates with companies such as Universal/
MCA Records, Sony Music Entertainment, Virgin America, Capitol-
EMI Records and Ace Records UK.
